While we were in Aspen this past weekend, we stopped into a darling pet store named Rocky Mountain Pet Shop and bought Benji and Luke some toys.

Benji got an alien-looking toy...

It's so cute, made by Woof Wear NYC. His name is "Hungry Harry."

...I'm not sure he'll stay in one piece very long.

Weekend Snaps (Week Long Edition)

Just returned from a relaxing week on vacation and a wedding. Having slight sunshine/great weather withdrawls, but otherwise happy to have had the chance to leave and happy to return.

As Benji and I were lying on the couch watching one of our favorite shows, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, I looked down to see this on the side of his head...

Benji has very fine hair and sometimes it gets matted, but this was something I had never seen...a dreadlock!!! On my preppy dog!

Benji Wednesday: La-Z-Boy Edition

Benji is a master of the art of going incognito (aka hiding from me when I try to put him outside). One of his tricks involves hiding under my husband's leather recliner. Yes, that's right it's like a leather La-Z-Boy. We honestly couldn't find him for about 20 minutes the first time he did this.

The process goes like so....

Benji gets under the recliner. I call his name and he scoots further under.

My husband puts his leg rest down...

Benji scoots even further under...

Loved this picture of Molly Sims on last month's issue of Town and Country. Can we talk about her hair? Wow! Not to mention, she's wearing a Chopard watch and a stack of Roberto Coin diamond bangles. The total cost of which I won't bore you with, but let's just say it's more than most people make in a year! Since her amazing jewelry was slightly out of my budget I made my own version.

Target bangles and my own old watch. No quite as blingly, but I feel super cool when I wear them together!

Color Me Pink

My favorite color is yellow. Hence, the name of this blog. But, a very close second belongs to the color pink. Lucky for me, and all you other pink lovers out there, pink was a huge color for spring

We are moving at work this week and, while packing up, I noticed a serious color combo emerging...

...at what point do you admit you have a problem and begin pink-and-green recovery?

And yes, I wallpapered my cubicle in green toile. It was my mom's fabulous idea and I really love it. And, it definitely garners comments from visitors.

Sex and the City 2...wah, wah, wah

As discussed I attended a bachelorette party this weekend. We saw Sex and the City 2 and were a little underwhelmed. Aside from a few great pairs of shoes (glittery Louboutins that feature prominently in the opening scene are amazing) and an undying affection for SJP there is not much reason to see this one. Unless, like us, you wanted a reason to get ridiculously dressed up to go see a movie with your girlfriends. Which, I feel, is a completely valid life choice.

In my opinion, the best thing about this movie were the amazing shoes--and the awesome neon dress SJP wore to the premiere.

Mine was truly fabulous. I saw several sweet friends and celebrated the demise of one dear friend's singledom with a raucous (or at least semi-raucous) bachelorette party down Austin way.
